Work history

For me, aesthetic dermatology is an interesting and dynamic field, and it is also an extension of the dermatology profession. My aim is to create a balanced and natural appearance in all my treatments. The new changes have to suit that person. By providing clear information in advance and medical technical action, I want to meet the expectations of the client. Other alternatives will be discussed.

1999Physician researcher and working at the Department of Surgery (AIO) at the VU University Medical Center Amsterdam.

2004PhD on immunological and cellular changes after surgery in cancer patients (Thesis entitled: The local and systemic angiogenic and immunological responses to surgery).

2004 Specialisation (AIO) dermatology, AMC Amsterdam

2008 Dermatology in Dermicis, Haarlem and Dermatologisch centrum Amstel & Vechtstreek, Maarssen. In addition to general dermatology, specialized in oncological and aesthetic dermatology.

2017 Board member of Dutch Cosmetic Dermatology (Nederlandse Cosmetische Dermatologie)

2021 Creation of SKN2, Shape Aesthetics has merged together with skin therapists and cosmetic dermatologists into SKN2

Member of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Dermatologie en Venereologie (NVDV) and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV).
